OUALIE BEACH RESORT
& SCUBA NEVIS
Oualie Beach resort is a small 3 1/2 star beachfront resort with 32 rooms. Set in a cove this hotel hosts the only dive shop on the island. Informal and casually elegant, Oualie has a bar and restaurant on site with great meals and local entertainment. Choose from Deluxe, Studio and Premier rooms, each is in a single or two-storey gingerbread cottage with screened porches and great views of the beach and St. Kitts.
Scuba Nevis is on site, but Oualie also offers mountain biking, snorkeling, sunfish sailing, sport fishing boats, windsurfing school, hobie cats, kayaks and day sailing adventures on yachts and catamarans. There is a spa on site and "Under the Sea" operated by Marine Biologist, Barbara Whitman who offers educational lectures and snorkeling tours for both the novice and the experienced.
Oualie can also arrange rain forest hikes, horseback trail rides, tennis, golf, car rentals, historic and island tours, as well as shopping trips to neighboring islands.
Scuba Nevis, a PADI 5 Star facility offers full instruction in both PADI and
NAUI.
Deluxe Rooms: 20-40 yard from the beach, frig/minibar, coffeemaker, electronic safe, queen size four- poster bed or 2 double beds.
Studio: Full kitchens and queen four-poster bed. These can connect to a Deluxe room for families.
Premier: King size four-poster bed, frig/minibar, coffee maker, safe, vcr, larger bathroom.
Packages Include: Deluxe room accommodations, tax, energy surcharge, airport transfers, 2-tank morning dives for 5 days, $50 food and beverage credit per person applied toward your bill, free laundry service and Managers Cocktail party.
Not Included: Gear rental, nitrox, instruction.
